Wingspan : M & F 11-15mm. Confusion species Cochylis hybridella, Cochylis atricapitana and Eupoecilia angustana. |
Flight time & Voltinity
(Bivoltine)  Habitat Grassland. Foodplant Ragwort, hawk's-beards and hawkweeds. Lifestage data Spinning. Eggs laid on foodplant. Larva lives and feeds in a spinning amongst the flowers and seeds. Pupates amongst debris. |
